Privacy Policy

Our privacy policy is designed to explain to you how we (R&M Rentals LTD) collect and process data across our store. For us to comply with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations) it is important you understand these processes.

Before using our service and submitting data to us, please review our privacy policy (written separately for your convenience) carefully. By accessing the website you are agreeing to the practices described in this privacy policy. If you wish us not to collect any information, please do not provide any personal details or access the service.

Payment

All payments are handled by PayPal, if you don't have a PayPal account do not worry, PayPal will handle your payment without one. If you do have a PayPal account you can simply pay as normal. All payments are handled by PayPal on their own platform with none of your payment details ever being handled by any of our systems.

We simply send your chosen payment option, your order id, name and address as well as how much is to be paid. They send us a response regarding whether your purchase was successful or failed. No financial details are ever seen or held by us.

Delivery

Delivery will normally be no more than 5 working days from receipt of order and payment, we will however endeavour to deliver earlier. All deliveries must be signed for and an e-mail will be sent to you the day before delivery. We reserve the right to charge extra for delivery to certain areas i.e Scottish Highlands and Isles, Northern Ireland, and Isle of Man. If in doubt please e-mail us for a delivery quote.

Returns

As per the Consumer Contracts (shopping online) Regulations 2004, RMTV offer all their customers a 14 day cooling off period on all purchases from the website.

If you wish to return goods to us during this time or for any other reason, please ring us on 020 8326 0148 or contact us by email sales@rmtv.co.uk. Please note all goods need to be unused and in perfect condition, unless reason for return is to replace a faulty item.

It will be your responsibility to return the goods to us at your own cost and risk. Please contact us to receive a returns authorisation number before you send goods back to us. It is important you do contact us as in some cases photo evidence of the issue may be enough for us to issue a replacement.

Please make sure a copy of your original purchase invoice as well as the authorisation number is included with any return. This will help us identify your order and process your return quickly.

Once your goods have been returned and inspected your goods will be either replaced or you will be sent a full refund, (please note we do not refund postage or carriage costs) within 14 working days. If you are returning goods that need replacement due to the items being faulty, we will try to get a replacement in the post the same day (depending on stock).

Cancelling An Order

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2004 give you have the right to cancel any order made at distance, whether it be online or over the phone. Your right to cancel the service starts the minute you enter into the contract and lasts 14 days after receiving your goods. If for some reason your goods are sent over multiple deliveries, the 14 days commence from when the last order is received.

Please contact us a returns authorisation number before sending anything back to us.

The complete order including shipping will be refunded once all the goods have been returned have been inspected. Goods in an unsellable condition will not be refunded or a reduced refund may be offered. All refunds are made usually within 5 working days, but no more then 14 days as per the regulations. Please note that if you have selected a premium delivery service, only our basic shipping rate will be refunded.

It is recommended that you get either proof of postage or some other evidence to protect you from goods being lost or broken while being returned to us. While the emphasis is on us to take back unwanted goods (and we are happy to do so) the emphasis is on you to make sure your goods are reasonably packaged to return to us.
